Do you have any photos of this TV's light blocking issue?

So has LG stopped using direct LED backlighting, and now they just use edge LED backlighting? Is this the reason why light blocking has become such an issue for LG TVs?

I have the 47LE8900 from a couple of years back, which uses direct LED backlighting, and there's very little light blocking. So long as you avoid watching at very wide angles, light blocking is pretty much only visible in credits sequences (white text on a totally black background). In fact, you gave this TV 9 out of 10: http://www.trustedreviews.c...

Most new tv's use edge lit lcd's. Lets them be significantly thinner.
