I have the Dell version of this monitor the UltraSharp U2913WM. That has height adjustment a better stand and overall image quality improvements. I purchased it for around £400 and would advise people to go for that model over the LG.

Also the LG has firmware issues just Google it for more info.

The Dell can be bought for £365 on Amazon at the moment.

I have the same monitor, and absolutely love it. Currently learning (well, re-learning) Java programming, and the aspect ratio is great for having tutorials and learning material on one half of the screen, and code on the other half. Managed to get a refurb from OCUK for £285. But it would easily be worth £365. Couldn't recommend it enough.

"This lets you connect two separate devices and show both side-by-side at the same time. It's a neat, if non-essential, feature, albeit one that requires one of the devices to connect via DisplayPort."

So how does that work, with one displayport connector?

You use one of the other connections as well, not just DisplayPort.
