Nice to see some USB powered screens coming on the market in the UK. I'm really suprised there are not more of them available!
I've been using the Century LCD 8000u for several years. Really really handy to have a second screen for laptop on the move. The 8000u is a very lightweight product and awesome screen quality.
Unfortunately this product is quite hard to find outside of Japan. If you visit Japan then you can pick the Century 8000u up in Yodobashi Camera stores.
What would be really cool is a super-slim USB e-ink screen that could be used to display emails or PDF documents on a second screen. I guess its just a matter of time!...
Thanks for an interesting and constructive comment.
Totally agree about the e-Ink screen, it's so much easier on the eye when reading and you could run a relatively huge panel on a small rechargeable battery.
Has anyone else used a portable monitor and if so, what are your thoughts?
