Nice to see you guys separate battery life from performance. Never made much sense to me in having performance include battery life in the scoring. Two separate things imo, and you guys obviously agree. :)

I dont think its flawed at all, my laptop has a 1280x800 15.6 screen and bluray looks awesome on it you got to remember that its 720p HD on a 15 - 16 inch screen and if you can't tell the difference on a 32inch tv your sure as hell not going to in a movie on your laptop screen. you would on other stuff though
This is a bargin but it reinforces the bargin I got on my laptop - 2GHz core 2 duo, 4GB ram, 250GB HDD dedicated ATI graphics (plays crysis on medium!) and bluray for £500 a year ago

What's the point of a blu-ray player with a low resolution screen? On a 16.4, those pixels will probably be the size of ducks...
I'm dismayed that such a critically flawed piece of kit got a TR Recommended award.
