Apple MacBook Pro 15.4in Notebook Review

@purephase, I maybe use my PC a different way to you, install different software etc, because you don't suffer slowdowns etc, doesn't mean plenty more don't. To be honest I'm maybe been a little harsh on M$, but it would certainly be nice if they spent more time on the OS with self optimization, than creating fancy looking widgets that nobody is likely to use. Anyway, I do know that my best option is going to be a re-install, I'm maybe more angry with myself for not doing a TrueImage last time. :)

@Gnormie, Eh, no I don't expect my car to self maintain, mainly because it physically cant, a PC on the other hand can.

Did my reinstall last night and what d'ya know! It does feel like a new PC. Boots up way faster and apps load without any delay. Maybe I'm doing something wrong (like Keith!) but I (also) personally find a reinstall every so often more than worth the trouble.

Now to reinstall all the crap that slowed it down in the first place!!

LOL, Well I think I'm going to do the same soon. But this time I will NOT forget to TrueImage my install. I need a blackboard were I have to write that down 100 times me thinks.

I had to cringe in pain when I read that... 70% is perfectly readable? I consider 45% too bright... 70% makes my eyes melt out of my sockets! :) Ouch!!
