I have this model since early last week and the least I can say is that I very pleased with it. I placed a 2GB RAM module, uninstalled half of the Asus factory freeware and replaced it with Office 2007 and google Desktop. It is very usable and still feels snappy enough for serious productive work during my daily train commute. It is so small and so quick to wake up that I even use it in the bus when I have to finish things up.

as long as it means i can play worms armageddon, then i suppose i'd be happy with the xp edition of the machine. wish the screen res was higher, though...
bring on the 12 inch model?

What's the weight of the power supply? When you are travelling its the total weight that's important. I've heard that Asus power supplies are lighter than Acer. Is this true?

it's nicely small, portable and worthy the award.. sadly the size of keyborad is disappointing...

Exactly how many Eee-PC SKU's ARE there currently? My channel distributor lists fourteen at present, though this probably isn't fully up-to-date...
