also, the resolution of the monitor is WSXGA+, meaning 1680 x 1050, which is exceptionally high for this 15.4 size.

this review is totally wrong. the 6 buttons on the silver strip running across the top of the keyboard are for: 1. ASUS media player. 2. power mode (performance, battery saving, etc.) 3. enable/disable trackpad 4. Screen mode (vivid, theater, soft, etc) 5. internet 6. power.
