Toshiba Enters Intel CULV Game with Satellite T110 & T130

Toshiba has become the latest laptop manufacturer to announce some Intel CULV based laptops. Dubbed the Satellite T110 and T130, the 11.6in and 13.3in machines (respectively) will have starting prices of £429, while the T130 will also come in a business orientated Satellite Pro variant.
Both machines offer LED backlit, 1,366 x 768 resolution displays, three 'sleep & charge' USB ports, HDMI, Wireless-N Wi-Fi and will come in a selection of colours. At 22.2mm thick these are some seriously thin machines, while Toshiba reckons that their six-cell batteries could power them for up to 11 hours.
Processing power could be an issue, though, with no plans - as far as we know - to sell them in the UK with dual-core variants of Intel's CULV processors. Such an option will be reserved for the Satellite Pro T130, so it could be the one to get if you're after something a little more powerful.

I quite like the burgundy version, the body at least - that black screen surround doesn't go with the red at all.
The Satellite Pro T130 sounds interesting, I wonder... more
