Sony Netbook Spotted Comments

There can't be that many more manufacturers to catch on. I'm still waiting to see if Apple make one, though.

@Darfuria: NEC, Shuttle, Creative, Panasonic and Pioneer could all conceivably release netbooks so we may not have seen everyone enter the market just yet.

A Panasonic netbook could be quite intriguing. They have a habit of making interesting machines.

Let's hope Sony understand the price concept of the netbook as well as the form.

@ThaDon: Unfortunately I think Linux is highly unlikely, I wouldn't be surprised if they try and force Vista onto it.

@Jag: I reckon Vista would be too much for anything running Atom; but i will say that the form factor is sweet as long as the resolution is decent.. I have a weird 1024 X 480 res on my C1-VFK... lots of scrolling :)
