Packard Bell Launches "dot" Netbook

It seems somewhat provident that "meh" has been added to the dictionary just in time for Packard Bell's UK launch of its "dot" netbook. Although launch is slightly misleading seeing as the system won't actually go on sale until next January.

Once that date swings around, the dot will unsurprisingly pack those same 8.9in netbook specs we've come to know and love. A 1.6GHz Atom, 1,024 x 600 resolution screen 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive will come as no surprise.
There's also the option of a built-in HSDPA adaptor, although whether that will be a telco-exclusive option, as per the Dell Mini 9, remains to be seen.
Pricing also falls into the usual netbook region, starting at £299 and spiralling up as specs are increased.
Sadly for Packard Bell, it will take a miracle for the dot to tempt us away from the Samsung NC10. One for the "yawn" section of our Ultimate Netbook Buyers Guide I think.

@MSIC,
I'll see your Meh, and raise you a pre-Meh yawn...
