IFA 2008: Samsung Launches MacBook Air Killer Comments

Looks like Sony and Lenovo have another competitor! Interesting, the battle of the Netbooks and now the 13.3 inchers!

that's a very nice proposition samsung have there... the full monty for less thn £1,500 is incredibly tempting, too.

any info on processor clock speeds and graphics?

it can only be a macbook air beater if it can run mac os x:P

Ironduke.. you can run mac os x on most pc's if you really want to.. I think they call it hackintosh ;) check it out on the web.

@ TL1210 I know I have one and it aint plain sailing especially updating, and most people wouldnt be cappable,

@ Ironduke, No offense but what makes you think that ppl buying this samsung notebook will want to run Mac OS X? LOL. :D
MacBook Air is only for ppl who think they look cool if they are seen using that. Most of the time, they don't even know how to use it. Just for show only.

Macbook air is for people with more money than sense. No LAN, No VGA, No HDMI, 1 x USB, No Docking, No Fingerprint, No TPM, Hard wired battery, no express slot, no 7 in 1 card reader but at least you'll still look the part ;)

btw the samsung has all the above (apart from HW battery plus 2 more USB ports)and arguably looks better :)
