Fujitsu-Siemens do good laptops, I'm a fan but they could have at least tried more with the styling. The Asus Eee PC managed to compete with Apple (not an Apple fan, but appreciate their skill and flair with design) as far as cool design goes, and this would have been a great opportunity to meld form with function. Its a shame really.

I like how the battery is described on their website (same with the "data" sheet).

4-cell, perhaps? I wish they'd just come clean.

Oops. The info was in the datasheet, all along. Just not where you'd expect it to be:
Supplied Accessories
First Battery 4 cells
And erm, kindly remove the useless vB tags from my initial post. Force of habit.

The HP MiniNote offers an ExpressCard slot.
The most interesting thing about that picture to me is the very thick top and bottom bezels on the screen. It makes me wonder if Fujitsu has plans to offer it with a 1024x768 4:3 screen as well, that would make it a lot more interesting.
I'm a bit puzzled by the fairly large areas to either side of the keyboard. I guess they help make the machine look bigger but with small keyboards being the second or third most complained about factor in netbooks it seems like an unwise sacrifice unless the keyboard is really good.
