All the information about the new models (including the Z) will be announced by Sony on Tuesday afternoon (the 15th), at a press conference in Berlin. There is a countdown to the event - which will be streamed live - here: http://club.vaio.sony.co.uk/clubvaio/gb/en/vaio10/

But I thought there were issues with Nvidia notebook graphics parts. Is this a new one? Check out this Yahoo story entitled, "Your laptop's Nvidia graphics card: Busted", at http://tinyurl.com/5mxsyq.

The affected nvidia cards are only 8400M and 8600M. The new Z will feature a 9300M (or9600M depending on source/model), so they should not be affected.

I had thought that Penryn chips had already shipped, so whats the big deal? I hear that integrated graphics versions of Centrino 2 arent being launched Monday, but August, in order to get the bugs out. I hope that Intel graphics improve because the previous 3 revisions, IMO, were broken.
