Does it have 2 Sd slots, one on each side as it looks from some pix?

You don't list SD/HC as being supported by the device; is this exact as journalist often overlook this HIGHLY important matter. Indeed SD is limited to 2GB (4GB in some cases) while SD/HC goes up to 32GB, a huge difference. Especially on a basic 8GB device.

Finally is it possible to install Windows XP (Home/Pro) on the Linux version? I.e. does Acer deliver XP drivers on a CD (or downloadable) as Asus seems to do with their EeePC?

Hi i have got an Acer Asipre One ZG5 and it came with Lynux pre-loaded, i have a 120GB HDD and 1012 MB of RAM, I got bored of the Lynux system quite quickly and found it to be made for children and the elderly, the keyboard is excellent, I have big hands and i find it very easy to type without having to move your wrist as much as you do a bigger laptop.
I have a crstal eye webcam which is very clear and got great detail, better used with a good back light though.
On the left side, there's the power connector, VGA port, ethernet, a third USB 2.0 port, and a special SD card slot for 'storage expansion'. Any SD card you insert into this slot will magically be added to the SSD storage pool - the 4GB SD card I bought upped my storage from 8GB to 12GB. on the right you have got 2 x USB 2.0, 5 in 1 card reader and extenal microphone and earphone jack sockets. the wiresless 'button' is on the front right slides to the right. To the point, i now run windows vista home premium and it runs very fast, smooth and reliable, much quicker than Windows xp home (i tried that first), i have made a bootable USB flash drive to install the operating system and can use any cd/dvd drive on any other pc or laptop on my network, elliminating the hasstle of not having one on the Aspire.
the speakers are very tinny and not very loud and are under the laptop instead of near the screen or even down the side fo the screen, which would of been innovation it's self.
I do have one small gripe about putting vista on my machine and it is only a small hasstle, Acer have not made drivers for the aspire one ZG5 yet, they dont exist. After a few hours of searching I found a driver package from Europe, translated it and installed it. Everything works perfectly apart from the webcam, which says it has a problem with the driver.
i search on.....
