The Huawei Ascend P2 is a phone that will live or die by its pricing. It’s set to sell for 399Euro, but exactly what that’ll translate to in the UK is up for debate. The Huawei Ascend P2 a solid, well-made phone with solid specs, providing everything most people need without the arguable diminishing returns some of 2013’s “mobile innovations” come with. However, its design isn’t exactly crammed with personality and Huawei’s EmotionUI isn’t as hot as its top competitors, HTC Sense and Samsung TouchWiz.

Odd that you say the screen is the best feature, because your photos really don't back up that claim. Every photo of the screen makes it look totally washed out with very low brightness to the point of being utterly unusable outdoors. Does it look a lot better in person?

Re: futureproof - Does it over heat when used as a internet hub by x number of devices???

I recall the Motorola Atrix was all bells and whistles early 2011 upon its launch but suffered from this heat issue further down the line.
