Been using Huawei phones since April. Had the G600 but it went missing. Got the smaller G330 and been using for a week. For RM 499, it's the best in its price range. Beats all the Samsungs in that price range. The 5MP camera is pretty decent - I have never regarded a phone as a primary imaging device anyway.
does any1 know abt its non-camera version? if yes then does its backside shows camera point as normal camera mobile used to?
I must DEFINATELY say DON'T buy this phone. The only thing attractive is the price but nothing else. I really writ ethis because someone will benefit from my review. The Software is buggy. I own the phone for 6 months but it only gave me problems endless. The phone can be very slow such that almost every app you open , you are prompted to Close or wait. Then I had to factory reset and only to find out that it cannot work with my SIM card anymore. The Service Centre (Agent) in Singapore (IX-Mobile) say there is nothing wrong with the phone. Also they refuse to fix the error "com.process.google.gapps has stopped" constantly popping up every few mins. They also giving the answer nothing is wrong! The WORST thing about this phone is the battery. The battery level can drop from 45% to 25% in 2 mins of usage !! What phone model does that ? Very weak battery and high battery consumption. You get inferior phone for the Cheaper price ! Is it worth it ? Definately not !!! VERY BAD product and very terrible service. DONT BUY. Would you rather hear good things or bad things about this phone? Ignore it at your own RISK. Don't say you haven't been warned !! Huawei Singapore doesn't even have a service centre of their own. How can they give good service by asking a third party ? I owned 2 Huawei phones and they were really bad. Save your self problems.
After 12 months use the touch screen was failing occasionally, the phone switches itself on sometimes overnight, the camera appears to photograph several things blue many times. The phone is also slower and programmes are starting to fail more and more regularly. Now the screen of my G330 spontaneously cracked without doing anything to the phone - talk talk, my phone provider says this is not covered by their guarranty and I have to replace the screen at my own cost, then they can replace the phone if other things are failing - has anyone had a similar problem? Thanks.
For the price, ease of use, and a good REPLACEABLE battery which makes it possible to keep a spare charged battery on hand, its a great reliable phone. You can update to Android Jelly Bean which makes a noticeable improvement in many aspects of an already genuine bargain price smartphone. I've had my G330 for just over a year, and had no problems, despite dropping it numerous times. Having micro SD expandable memory I feel is another big plus point and is still something you don't get on many far more expensive phones. The camera is fine for snaps particularly as it has an led flash. Also it is the best phone I've had so far for clarity of calls (at both ends), important to me as my hearing isn't so good these days. At the end of the day I just wanted a good PHONE with internet capabilities for occasional use, and the G330 fits the bill perfectly.
