HTC Salsa video review

Read the full HTC Salsa review

The HTC Salsa may be a smaller, budget device, with Facebook at its core but it's actually a surprisingly grown up smartphone. It's smartly styled, speedy in operation, packed full of features, and can get you to Facebook nirvana quicker than you can say toasted Tortilla. Whether your desire for Facebook fripperies is strong enough to overcome the slightly high price is more of a personal preference issue but if you do like the idea then it's very well executed.

Getting the specs wrong (the Salsa has an 800Mhz processor, not 600Mhz) doesn't encourage trust in "Trusted Reviews."

The Salsa should have been a top choice for anyone in the market for a mid-range Android phone.
I said SHOULD.
A comfortable size, decent 800Mhz processor, good for video calls and a dedicated camera button are great, plus that facebook button for those addicted.
Unfortunately, HTC have chosen to give it insufficient built in memory for a very bloated OS, leaving users a bare 100Mb for apps and, even with a large microsd card, that fills up quickly.
In the end, many will wish they had bought something else.
