Great great.. SCREEN RESOLUTION! WHY! Half way there with the matte finish but you just had to kill it didn't you HP.A 7200rpm drive would make this a lot more usable too. I love the num pad though and the finish generally. Good effort.
Wait, this has no pointing stick and HP calls this a business laptop? Well at least the Elitebook still has them.
Why 16:9 on a business laptop? I find 16:10 an essential feature for work productivity (as well as a matte screen). Even so, it would be great to see a review of the ProBook 4710 which at least gives a usable 1600 x 900.
I am still using my 4510s and it is still serving me very well. I've had to replace the battery and I swapped the HDD out with an SSD. It treats me well. I do wish it had a TPM option though and with WIn7 on it I don't have full access to my hardware; the wired NIC and webcam refuse to work. I can't remember if it is a driver issue or a PCI Interrupt issue, I gave up on those a long while back but I rarely have need of them anyway.
