If you are planning on getting a pair of Beats Solo HD headphones, HP’s Pavilion dm4-3000ea Beats Edition is worth considering for its style, good speakers, comfortable ergonomics, decent battery life and unique red keyboard backlighting. However, if you already own a premium pair of cans, you can get more laptop for less elsewhere.

Well if you go to the UK HP website you will find four versions of this model, two of them without the bundled headphones -starting from £720. If bought it using topcashback (-8.08% for a few days) you would pay £661+ delivery, sometimes is free and sometimes the HP web has and additional 10% discount. In this way I suppose that the computer would be more interesting!

I purchased this laptop aourd 1 year back. Laptop as such has good performance, nice audio, looks great but parts are not. My hard disk crashed in 6 months, batteries need replacement within 1 year. I even experience CPU fan noise. HP support system is also not good. I feel they doubt you, will tell you that its your fault. We will investigate before we replace it etc. They just argue and avoid service. My recommendation, don't buy this cheap quality product, go for dell/better trusted option

Laptop sucks. Battery is cheap quality, had to replace it within 1 year. Hard disk crashed in 6 months!! . CPU fan makes noise, keyboard is not functioning properly. On top of this, HP service, unbelievable, they argue blame you for bad usage!!! hold time is ohh my god.. just pathetic.

Best laptop I have ever owned, upgrading to 16 gig ram and keeping it, instead of updating to a new model. I guess I have been lucky this time. Have to admit that it can get quite hot, like older HP's! love it though
