Hotpoint SDL510
Although it won’t take a lot of dishes it will wash them well. With seven programmes that include soak, delicate, eco, intensive and normal, you can set the Hotpoint SDL510 to do a Daily 60 °C for standard cleaning or, if you’re in a rush, get it to wash the dishes in a fast 37 minute wash. There’s even a half load setting for when you don’t have that many dishes to wash. All of these different options have given it a washing efficiency rating of A.
The Hotpoint SDL510 also dries the dishes well, with the Hotpoint SDL510 having been awarded a drying efficiency rating of A too. This is useful as you don’t have to worry about waiting for the dishes to dry once the cycle is over. Another useful feature is the start delay option — if you don’t want the wash to start just yet you can set it to start when you’re ready, such as when you’re out of the house.
It’s very quiet, and very easy to load. The dials and light-up settings on the front of the Hotpoint SDL510 also make it really easy to use and understand. The cycles are a little bit long and the top basket is very high, making it more difficult to get glasses in, but apart from these niggles it’s a really, really good machine.
