This fridge has loads of space, with the capacity to hold around 350 litres of food, this will more than fit the needs of a large family. The fridge has five transparent glass shelves, five door shelves, two fruit and veg boxes in the bottom, and a bottle rack in the middle. The main shelves are adjustable, and the door shelves are well spaced, to fit bottles and tall items. The top door shelf is dairy box and contains an egg tray.
The fridge is well lit inside, and the transparent shelves make seeing all of the contents really easy — even with the huge capacity you don’t have to worry about losing items inside. The temperature controls are easily accessed on the top rim of the fridge, and the cold is consistent throughout the unit.
In case the setting is too cold, this fridge has been built with an auto defrost feature so you don’t have to worry about defrosting it yourself every few months. Despite keeping masses of food cool this fridge is energy efficient, with a high rating of 'A'. Because it doesn’t use loads of energy you shouldn’t have to pay enormous electricity bills to keep it running and, if you care about this kind of thing, you can appease your eco-guilt.
The RLS175P is a great appliance, the only minor complaints being that it could perhaps do with one more shelf, as there is so much space, and the fruit and veg boxes are a bit narrow, it would have been better as just one large box rather than two. Besides these two small niggles, this is a reliable, spacious and well-designed fridge that is good value for money.
