Hotpoint Quadrio FF4D

The Hotpoint Quadrio FF4D really is a beautiful thing. At almost two metres tall, 70 centimetres wide and 74 centimetres deep it’s a big thing too, and you get an awful lot of fridge for your money. A big fridge tends to mean a big capacity, and the Hotpoint Quadrio FF4D does not disappoint, capable of holding an impressive 390 litres — 295 litres in the fridge and 102 litres in the freezer.

Even though it is undoubtedly a large appliance, the Quadrio FF4D is not as large as many other American style fridge freezers, meaning you can get the style without having to take up so much space — and it still has an energy efficiency rating of A.

If you’re someone who has lots of parties, then the amount of specialised drinks storage the Hotpoint Quadrio FF4D offers might impress you. It can chill up to six bottles of wine at one time in the wine rack, but the fridge door has extra deep storage too that will take even more bottles. There’s also a rack that is able to store and chill four 330ml cans with the serving of drinks sure to benefit from the twist and serve ice-cube tray within the freezer.

The fridge itself has two doors, four glass shelves that can be rearranged, two huge salad crisper drawers and a dairy compartment. Some of the space on one of the shelves is taken up with the bottle rack, but this can be removed if desired. As well as the drinks rack in the door there is deep fridge storage than can store items such as big bottles of milk.

The freezer has two doors that each open into the freezer’s two compartments. These two compartments are very large considering the overall size of the freezer, but this isn’t a big freezer so if you tend to freeze lots of food, the Hotpoint Quadrio FF4D might be best avoided.

There is a dual thermostat so you can set the temperature for each appliance individually whilst a high temperature warning facility will let you know if the food is about to defrost.
