I missed the presentation of the PF88 as the board had yet to arrive at the show when I met with ECS. However, there were plenty more products on the ECS stand worthy of coverage. First up is the PF22 Extreme and the PF5 Extreme – based on the new Intel 955X and 945P chipsets respectively.

Next up was a live demo if a mATX 945G board which features the next generation of Intel GMA graphics, GMA950.

ECS was also showing a board with the new Radeon Xpress 200 for Intel chipset from ATI. ECS seems to be very keen on retaining the AGP slot – at least for now – and has developed AGP Express. The AGP Express slot works over the PCI bus and won’t give you full AGP performance, but as a slot for a secondary graphics card it is a competent solution as it works in conjunction with a PCI Express graphics card. The Radeon Xpress 200 board was one of many motherboards on display at the ECS booth to feature an AGP Express slot.

ECS had a few new notebooks on display as well, including a new high-end 15.4in Centrino model – the 600L – as well as a 17in model, the 910. A Turion branded model was also on display, although currently featuring a mobile Sempron processor.

Finally ECS had a new portable video player on display – the MAVX - which comes with a docking cradle, although it wasn’t clear when this product was going to launch officially.
