Ouch! That is a lot of money.
Anyone know how this compares with the cheaper Panasonic BD80?
I only ask because (in my opinion) Blu-Ray is still an evolving technology.
This player is already not upto spec (profile 2.0) with current standards, so how long before it becomes defunct.
If the cheaper Panny was comparable, then it would make sense to buy that now and then buy another player in 2 years time.
