I find it difficult to comprehend just how good speakers over £3500 must be. Pity I can't afford to ever find out :(

Very nice and all, but you could buy an entry level Miller & Kreisel/PMC setup for that cash. And, as Trusted rarely reviews high end AV audio kit, doesn't a review of £3000+ speakers prove a little pointless if there's nothing to compare it to? In isolation, pretty much all expensive 5.1 speaker systems will sound pretty damn good! :)

hi
im really thinking of buying this system to go with my home setup but is it really anygood with music? i ask because most THX systems fall short with stereo music from say a straight cd source. The setup will be mostly movies but music reproduction is important.
anythoughts?

@ Danny and the TR Boys: First there was the Pioneer BDP-LX71 Blu-ray Player then you brought us a review of the Pioneer KRP - 600A, so we went ahead and got ourselves a nice christmas treat by getting them with the Pioneer SC-LX81 amp. But now you're bringing us this gorgeous beauty, the missing piece of our puzzle, the milk in our tea, the Samwise of Frodo, seriously guys! It looks absolutely fabulous, by the sounds of things (no pun intended) you seem to really love it. But could you guarrantee us that it is really really worth its price tag? If so, we would jump right in but we would have YOU to blame for the butterflies in our wallets...
