Obviously this is just a viability test. But where the hell do they think this is going to go??
Do they imagine people will have a draw full of usb drive movies? Given the ease in which you can just download the film from itunes or whereever, or get the DVD.. this is a complete waste of time. Maybe they are curious how much people will actually pay for Ghostbusters.

Can't think of any reason to buy this over the DVD version, except for novelty. Even then it seems like the movie has been compressed (My DVD rips usually end up at 4-6GB) to get it on a 2GB stick.

Would be nice to know what the video quality is like and (hence) how much space it takes up (or vice versa). Would this also work if plugged into, say, an Xbox360/PS3 (I doubt it by the sound of the PC/Mac requirement).
Anyway I agree with all - totally overpriced - I would say a £2 premium (tops) over the price of a blank 2GB stick would be the tipping point for me (for an old, and presumably pretty compressed version).
Any chance of a review? :)

You can actuall buy the film, a DVD player *** AND *** a 2Gb USB stick for less than £29.99
Just found you can get it on a 128mb MMC card for £15.00 - bargain!!!

It's not even an ectoplasmic green glow in the dark USB stick.
