The VPL-HW30 was Sony's first projector and will let you get a lot of projector a relatively meagre £3,000. Our panel found the Sony projector offered a quick response time and extensive connectivity, making this a worthy winner. The Sony VPL-HW30 keeps cross talk to a bare minimum, and also delivers superb 2D image quality - meaning it only just missed out on top spot in the Awards.
