Capcom's attempts to provide better performance under DX10 have clearly paid dividends for nVidia's cards as they consistently perform ever so slightly better in DX10 with AA disabled. Once AA is enabled the situation is reversed with DX9 just beating DX10 but even so it's still a decent effort.

For the ATI cards the situation isn't quite so rosy and moving to DX10 without AA causes a huge drop in performance. Enabling AA does even things up dramatically but that's unfortunately due to DX9 being equally bad as DX10.

Overall, we again see the supposedly midrange cards performing quite appallingly with none of our tested resolutions providing playable frame rates. Dropping in-game settings will help to improve things but even so this isn't a good situation.
