Image Quality

Screenshots are taken from the exact same position in each of the four game tests and these can be used to compare against reference software rendered images available from the included results browser.

Restults

At the end of all this technical wizardry you are awarded a 3DMark score that serves to express the gaming power of your computer in its simplest form. It may not be the whole story, but for a generation of hardware enthusiasts it has become the yardstick against which other benchmarks are judged.



Using the offline results browser it’s possible to see the breakdown of this score and examine how well, or how badly individual tests were executed:



If you wish you can publish your 3DMark results on Futuremark’s Online Results Browser (ORB) which lets you dynamically compare your results to those published by other users and likewise let them compare to yours.
