I dunno about playing nice mate... If Intel win this and oh-so-generously negotiate a new deal for nVidia to continue using their architecture IP, they are either going to want a boat load more cash, and / or licensing of nVidia's GPU IP as a trade. They would essentially have carte blanche to demand whatever they want; nVidia need this licensing to continue being competitive.
I would think that another reason they would want to offer renegotiation after a legal victory is to stave off the US DoJ / EUC from stamping all over them with-anti trust legislation. I'd wager nVidia could at least build a case here given that Intel is currently cross-licensing a ton of x86 IP with their only major rival - AMD.
