Fine, the graphics performance is up, but how far does it diminish the battery life?
I get fed up with people claiming stock Intel is crap compared to dedicated solutions. When nVidia or AMD can produce a GPU that outperforms Intel (even slightly) AND improves on power consumption, THEN I'll take be impressed.

It doesnt diminish battery life, it actually comsumes less power than the G45.

*Sits back to watch other manufacturers use this technology in laptops 1/3 of the cost*
In all seriousness though good job Apple on getting rid of those integrated intel chipsets for better ones from Nvidia, just hope they get some decent driver support.

Not all that different from those other 9200M laptops I'm beginning to see but still good.

as long as it means the end of intel's IGP tyranny... stupid things can't even play command and conquer generals with shadows turned on. evil little devices...

It would definitely make for a nice change after all the recent focus on Intel and its Atom platform and will hopefully make for some choice when it comes to the slew of netbooks that are hitting the market every other day
