True. Nothing aggravates customers more than companies which start to rip consumers off by rebranding old technologies and startiing to set unreal price points for their underperforming products.
Contrary to what such monopolies think, the people do have the vision to see such behaviour, and all it does it spoil the brand reputation that has been built by years upon years of hard work.
Prolonged quality and customer satisfaction reaps in the best profits over the long term, then again maybe Nvidia knew in the back of their mind, that their superiority wont last long and they just wanted to reap in all the money they could in the time that it held a monopoly over the market.
Poor Nvidia.

Serves them right for the fiasco of their 8 series card refreshes. Swapping the 8 for a 9 just to rinse more money from the uninformed. My next card will probably be ATI. They've released their new cards at a good price (unlike the mean green machine) which has forced NVIDIA to reduce their bloated rip off 200 series.
