WWDC '07: Apple Inks Gaming Deals

There is a fundamental flaw in Apple's global campaign to portray the Mac as a savvy, fun loving Yuppie and the PC as a downtrodden business bore: the PC has the largest and most established games catalogue on the planet and the Mac has virtually nothing. Time for a change...

In a move which certainly won't have Windows gamers quaking (pun intended) in fear (damn, I'm good) Steve Jobs announced that deals have been signed with EA, its EA Sports division and iD software.
Consequently, Mac users can look forward to Battlefield 2142, Command & Conquer 3 (above), Need for Speed, Harry Potter tie-in number heaven-knows-what, Tiger Woods 08, Madden 08, and an as yet untitled impending iD FPS which will be formally announced at E3 in July. On the downside none of these are exclusives and will appear on every format under the sun.
That said, it is a step in the right direction and means noobs won't have to run the terrors of Boot Camp. Besides, I'm sure Apple owners are sick of Myst, Jedi Knight II and World of Warcraft by now...
PS What on earth is going on here?!
