hi we've spoke before about cameras as i'm going on safari in feb and you suggested i got the TZ5 now the prices are coming down i'm thinking about getting the TZ6 but i've got this thing niggling me to get the FZ28 this is the last time i pester you out of them 3 what would you choose thanks vince

If you can afford it, the FZ28 is going to best of those 3 on safari because of the longer telephoto zoom, plus its also a larger camera which makes holding it steady at the long telephoto end better. Its been recently replaced by the FZ38 which has some worthwhile improvements. Read the review on this site.
http://www.trustedreviews.com/digita...ix-DMC-FZ38/p1 The FZ28 can be bought for about £230 and the FZ38 can be found for about £25 more at £253, however the price of the TZ6 has dropped to £185 (EBuyer / Amazon) so it really comes down to how much you want to spend. For a safari, I would put them in this order FZ38 FZ28 TZ6 would not consider the TZ5 at its current price. |

thats what i thought when i look on ebay it says the fz35 is the same as the fz38 which is a little confusing at the end of the day its a once in a lifetime holiday so i will try my best to get a dacent camera cheers vince

The FZ35 is probably an imported model, so might not have full Panasonic warranty. Prices for the FZ38 at the link below, cheapest is £252.04 delivered. Not dealt with that retailer myself, next up is £254.50 ~ better than what might be a grey import from Ebay
