Samsung NC10 durability.

I am interested in hearing from people who have had an NC10 for a while, say 6 months or more with fairly heavy use - 2 hours + per day, about how the machines are holding up and whether you have experienced any hardware problems over that time.

Feedback Strands* has analyzed opinions voiced on the web on Samsung NC10-14GW laptop during the period November 14, 2008 to June 16, 2009, by studying them on some web sites. This note is a brief summary of our observations – they are based on a sub set of opinions voiced and may not reflect a completely representative view of consumer opinions.

Consumers appear to have given “thumbs up” to Samsung NC10-14GW - the model received “Feedback” (% positive opinions - % negative opinions) score of 76. It received 87% positive opinions and 11% negative opinions. The rest were ambiguous opinions.

The most spoken attributes appear to be the accessories, battery, interface, price, audio, screen, control, display, hardware, software, touchpad, screen size, manual and body. Of these, attributes with most positive are battery, interface, body and hardware, and attributes like touchpad, audio quality, and screen size have received more of negative opinions.

Samsung NC10-14GW is described as “highly efficient” machine by many. The performance of battery is high i.e. the battery life is about 7 to 8 hours. The size of this laptop is small enough to carry and handle. The design is very attractive, and many have appreciated for the way it is built. Keyboard is highly comfortable, and the keys feel very good. Screen is bright, clear with anti-glare that took center of stage. Wireless connectivity is second to none. The power of CPU is high that runs in high speed. The hard drive size is sufficient and easy to upgrade. Customers liked the white and pink color of the laptop. Accessories like carry case are of higher grade.

Some attributes with negative opinions are audio, screen size, touchpad, etc. A few users found the audio quality very poor and the speakers are practically nonexistent. The booting of the device gives a blue screen and errors. The screen size is very short. The touchpad is small and very sensitive.

On balance, Samsung NC Series NC10-14GW laptop seems an appealing machine.
