I have a few thoughts about this announcement...I am currently a FitBit One user and I chose this model over competitors for its sleep tracking function. It works well for sleep tracking since I'm not worrying about losing it. My biggest disappointment with this announcement is that it's not for a wristband to house FitBit One. They already have a great product that can tell time and display stats, why not house it in a great wristband? Instead they pared down the product to no display (except small progress led lights) and if I did buy into it I'd have to use the app to initiate sleep mode, not good. I'd rather have a chunky One watch or a Nike Fuel that tracked sleep. Software wise, I am very happy with FitBit although I have not used Jawbone's or Nike's software. I would miss the watch on the Flex because I usually have my cell phone with me, don't need to know the time or could always ask someone else what time it is.

I have a Fitbit Flex which is a great device and you do not need to access the App to enter sleep mode simply tap the Fitbit several times as you climb into bed. Repeat the process when you wake up.

Great idea. Band poor quality and very expensive to replace. Fitbit Flex has lasted as long as the band. Don't bother, it won't last and you cannot tell what you have done.

I have the HF32D microwave analyzer and this product sends a burst of radiation out every second, all the time. The pulse goes over the limit my the HF32 can measure when it's freshly charged, sending out over 800mV/m. After 12 hours, it goes down to 200mV/m. I had no idea it would do this, and no idea why the company decided this, since it's a waste of battery. They should allow a sync mode on/off switch, where you tap it a few times to activate the radio.. not only would it be safer, but it would probably double the battery.
