Thanks Riyad. This was a well balanced article showing that it's not just the features that empower modern devices but how easily they work together for our needs. I do wonder whether increasing the number of handset choices does actually help the consumer. We all know how difficult it can be to decide on what chocolate bar to buy as there are so many good ones.

One point worth correcting - "Meanwhile, the N96... I doubt that too many O2 customers will be choosing one over an iPhone 3G though. " - O2 won't be selling the Nokia N96 as they have to focus on their iPhone sales targets so customer won't be able to choose it even if they wanted to.
