Read the full Dogcam MiniDVR HD review

Bullet cams are great for grabbing footage whilst you engage in extreme sports or track driving, but most lack a screen, so it's impossible to see what you're shooting until you download the footage at home - when it will be too late. The Dogcam Mini DVR HD comes with a separate recording unit attached by wire, which houses controls and a LCD panel so you can see precisely what the camera is aimed at. The bundled mounting options are extensive, too, making this an ideal camera if you're serious about your action videography.

I couldn't see any reference to the unit's obvious competitor the GoPro HDhero2. That seems to be around the same price and I've seen it or it's predecessor used in programmes on the major UK television networks.

Oh and kill the advertising that's jumping up and down in your face. If you did that in a pub you'd rightly get punched.

Also the Drift Hd unit which was the original HD camera with built in screen, full HD recording and 60fps at 720p. As above I've also seen Drift footage used for British Superbikes broadcast on Eurosport. The GoPro and Drift definitely need mention in this article.
