Dogcam Bullet HD Wide video review

Read the full Dogcam Bullet HD Wide review

If you want to capture sports activities, leaving your hands free, Dogcam's Bullet HD Wide provides a comprehensive set of options. The unit itself shoots 720p HD video, with acceptable image quality, as long as the lighting is good. But it's the mounting kit bundle that most impresses. There are mounts for strapping it to your head, velcroing it to a helmet, attaching it to goggles, or connecting it to a strut. The Bullet HD Wide is also waterproof to 10m, further extending the possibilities. It may be a little pricey, but this is a very flexible bundle for grabbing footage of your active sporting lifestyle.

Shame that the quality of the review video is so poor that it's impossible to judge the quality of the camera. Why not post the review video at 720p and low compression?

You can't trust dogcam to actually deliver these units. I ordered on 1-2 day delivery and 4 working days later I was notified that the shipper has finally received them and they would arrive another 4 days later. By then, my nephews (for whom these were to be gifts) will be back in another continent. I don't know when I will next see them, and even if I spend the money to ship them abroad, we've missed the opportunity to film our ski trip. Almost any other supplier and manufacturer must be more reliable than dogcam. Look elsewhere for your cameras.

My Dogcam HD refused to charge after just 18 months of below average use. The best Dogcamsport could offer me was a 10% discount on a new one! Buy rubbish, buy twice! Get a GoPro.. I am.

As below, bought two Dogcams for myself and my son and a little after the 12 month warranty expired, both units now will not charge with Dogcam simply offering 10% of another one.
Sound quality is dreadfull too

Avoid this product and this company.

The power unit on mine went after a few months. Charging worked intermittently from the start.

When I sent it back to dogcam, they conceded that it was broken, yet refused to give me a refund, rather offering me to spend money on another dogcam camera at a 10% discount.

How generous. I'd love to give incompetent manufacturers and dishonourable business people even more money.
