...ah, of course I should have read on to the end for the answer ("There are better cameras with smaller numbers on them"), silly me!

Awful Crap . Impossible to get the memory card in , no place to put the cable so you can import photos to your PC . This camera is not meant to be used on computers at all or meant to be used at all since there is no desription whatsoever about memory cards and cables to the PC . DON`T BUY THIS CAMERA , DON`T MAKE SAME MISTAKES AS I DID

for 13.6 megapixel this is very cheap and comes with a lot of great features, high quality pictures at an astonishing 4224 x 3168 resolution, takes sd memory cards which are very cheap got 4gb card for about £10, the interface is a little tricky at first but once you play around with it you'll get used to it, comes with software for editing videos and pictures and of course downloading them to your pc, i give the camera 9/10.

"in general the overall increase in sensor resolution across the market has not produced a corresponding increase in picture quality. There's very little advantage in image quality from a 10 or 12 megapixel camera over an 8 or 9 megapixel camera"
So which is it, "no corresponding increase in picture quality" or "very little advantage in picture quality"? You seem to equivocate.
