A range of general test shots are shown over the next two pages. In some cases, the full size image has been reduced for bandwidth purposes, and a crop taken from the original full resolution image has been placed below it to show the overall image quality.

The lens has a wide angle setting of 31mm (35mm equivalent).

The maximum extension is 465mm.

Image are generally pretty sharp.

This is the central portion with good sharpness but notice the purple fringing on the white ropes.

Macro performance down to 1cm is good.

The wide end of the lens has some barrel distortion.

I like the Sony H50 and Fuji S8100fd. The Fuji S9600 is no longer being made.
