Here's the usual detail test shot of the West Window of Exeter Cathedral, for you to compare with other cameras. See below for a full res crop, or click to see the whole picture.

The heavy image compression has robbed the image of a lot of fine detail.

The lens produces only slight barrel distortion at the wide angle setting.

The centre of the frame is quite sharp.

Corner sharpness is also good, with only a little chromatic aberration.
