Refine search for Digital Cameras

Once you've shot your sequence of pictures and copied them onto your computer, you're ready to start animating them. If your computer has enough memory, you can save some time by opening all the images at once in Photoshop. This is another advantage of shooting the pictures at a lower resolution; smaller images use up less memory. To make the images easier to see all at once, go to the Window menu, mouse over Arrange, and select Tile Horizontally.

What we need to create is a single multi-layered image with all of our animation frames on it. To do this, click on the second opened image, press CTRL + A to select the entire image, and then CTRL + C to copy it to the clipboard. Click on the first opened image, and press CTRL + V to paste the copied image in as a new layer. If your computer doesn't have enough memory to open so many images at once, you'll have to open each one individually, and copy and paste them in that way.


Do the same with the third image, then the fourth, and so on until the first image has as many layers as you have frames. If you want to resize your picture, now is a good time to do it, since it will resize every layer at once.
