I'd like this shot from Peter Erbák of Lubna, Czech Republic, a lot better without the bevelled frame and copyright notice, however it's still a very good photo, and shows that you don't have to use a wide-angle lens for landscapes.



Another unconventional landscape is this atmospheric shot from Tina Baxter of Coventry, UK. Shot on a four-year-old 3.1-megapixel Canon A70, this is proof if any were needed that you don't need the latest 12MP super-camera to take a good photo, just as long as you've got a good eye. The careful cropping also helps.



Speaking of unconventional, here are some sheep. They were photographed by Tom McInally, our second entrant from Edinburgh, Scotland. You see Tom, your daughter was right!
