TrustedReviews NewslettersSo we come to today's smallest contender from Lowepro. The 140 AW is a simple and no-nonsense pouch design suitable for a video camera or a digital SLR with a short lens, a flash unit, and some smaller accessories. Comes complete with shoulder strap, carrying handle, and a useful ‘All Weather' cover for when the weather really deteriorates.
The Velcro fastened internal dividers are easily adjusted for different makes and models and the built in micro fibre cloth not only helps protect the camera's screen, but doubles up as a cleaning cloth. Very useful!
The innovative reverse opening top takes a little getting used to, but once you have, it becomes second nature. It also affords more direct protection as the lid opens away from the body, shielding it from the elements.
To make sure all your cards are safe and sound, there is a very handy organiser built into the underside of the lid. Velcro fastened, this subtle little pocket will hold numerous cards of pretty much any type, or even other small accessories.
Overall a well made, compact and very usable camera bag, offering a selection of handy features. Alas a little more expensive than I would have liked to seen for its size.
