Straight off, the Pretty Boy Maxi shouts style. As always, Crumpler's excellent combination of practicality, quality, round shapes and bright colours literally make this bag stand out from the crowd. It is available in four eye-catching colour combinations; white grey/orange, blood red/silver, dull black/orange, or black olive/beige, and in 5 different sizes, M to XXXL.

A good selection of dividers allow for a variety of internal layouts, all easily adjustable using Velcro fasteners. Our review bag, the XXXL, could comfortably accommodate a standard SLR with lens fitted, an extra lens and a small flash unit. For smaller items such as spare cards, batteries, pens and the like, there is an expandable front pocket with Velcro fastener.
The Pretty Boy is well protected too. Using it's own "Original 1000d Chicken Tex Supreme hyper performance" heavy-duty weatherproof fabric on the outside, and lined with waterproof ripstop, this bag will keep your expensive kit safe and dry, even in adverse conditions. Which brings us neatly to an oddly named feature, the Prince Charles protective seals that promise to: ‘keep dirt, water and corgis out'. Well, that should cover most situations I dare say.

Not quite as refined as some considering the relatively high price, but nonetheless the Crumpler Pretty Boy is a neat and compact carrying system, with an excellent build quality and an abundance of fashion and style.
