Tripod Group Test Comments

I found this site while summering in Italy (my wife:Italian, me:American). The tripod review was invaluable and I will use this site for any further purchases in the future.Based on you review I settled on the Velbon Sherpa 435 tripod but it took weeks to find a vender. I corresponded with shops in England, Italy and Australia but the combination of the low dollar exchange and high shipping costs made the purchase impossible. Upon my return to the states I continued the search and finally found it in Canada. It arrived today.....it is as reviewed ....a well made tool with three levels,a carrying bag and great craftsmanship. The other tripods that i own,(which were much more expensive)do not compare. Later today I will begin to use this quality product and know I will not be disappointed. I will return to this site again & again ...many thanks for your efforts on our behalf.
