A range of general test shots are shown over the next two pages. In some cases, the full size image has been reduced for bandwidth purposes, and a crop taken from the original full resolution image has been placed below it to show the overall image quality. The wide angle end of the zoom is equivalent to 36mm, which is wider than average for a compact, but the lens distortion is a problem.

The pincushion distortion at the telephoto end is visible in this shot, pinching in towards the middle of the frame.

Exposure and colour rendition are good despite the overcast weather.

This is about as much contrast as I could find. The shadow details are little murky.
