I am also considering purchasing either the D40x or the Sony A200. What made you give the D40x one more point than the A200?

VERY SAD...we all have forgotton the image quality in the days of gimmicks as dust reduction, vr, movie mode...D40X IS FOR SUPERB IMAGE.FULL STOP.

I'm considering purchasing either this D40 or the Sony A200. I notice that you have given the Sony A200 9 points, while this one has been rated 10. What made you give the D40 one more point than the A200?
