I bought the original fixed-lens 5 m.p. pre-cursor to this camera. I loved it but, out of warranty it turned into a paperweight! I'm not sure I would pay any more for a Panasonic camera. Perhaps I should have bought the Leica clone instead? I still have a DMC-FZ20 which is very competent.
